The Central Bridge in the Old Town of Stockholm

The Central Bridge (Centralbron) got its name because between the north and south of Stockholm 3 bridges were originally planned but only two were built, Västerbron (the West Bridge) and Centralbron (the Central Bride). The East Bridge was cancelled due to high costs. The southern part of the Central Bridge was inagurated at June 16:th 1959 and the northern part at September 3:rd 1967.
